Sistar's Bora recently shared insights into her challenging childhood.
On October 21, Bora and Soyou appeared as guests on the YouTube channel 'Jjanhyung'.
During the episode, Bora revealed that she is currently without an agency and is contemplating her future in acting. Shin Dong-yup commented, "As idol singers enter their 30s and 40s, they often face many thoughts. They might find joy in acting if they have a talent for it, but they also question if they are in the right place. Not many in the entertainment industry come from affluent backgrounds."
Bora, who grew up as the head of her family, shared, "I took on the role of the family head for a long time. We lived in an unfinished construction site house. There were no windows, so my dad and I made them with wooden planks and plastic. I was in middle school and high school, but I never thought of it as unfortunate. I even brought friends over."
She continued, "In winter, when snow piled up, we used cement bags as sleds. I have a good memory, but I can't remember the inside of the house we lived in. I wondered if I erased it because I didn't want to remember."
Soyou also shared, "I grew up in a difficult household and didn't pay for school meals."
