The SBS drama 'Our Movie', featuring Namkoong Min, concluded with a lackluster 4.1% viewership rating.
The final episode, which aired on the 19th, wrapped up the storyline of 'White Love' and showcased the enduring romance between Lee Je-ha (Namkoong Min) and Lee Da-eum (Jeon Yeo-bin) even after the credits rolled. The finale recorded a nationwide rating of 4.1%.
'Our Movie' debuted with a 4.2% rating but quickly fell into the 3% range by its second episode. It struggled to climb out of this range, only slightly increasing in the final episode to reach the 4% mark again. Despite this, the premiere remained the highest-rated episode. However, it managed to avoid being the lowest-rated show in its time slot, as 'Casino' recorded a 3.4% rating.
Namkoong Min had previously addressed the low ratings on social media, stating, "I am very confident. Just watch until episode 5. If there is no significant improvement by then, feel free to criticize me. It will be my responsibility." Despite his confidence, the ratings did not improve by the fifth episode, and the show was overshadowed by others like 'Good Boy', 'Seocho-dong', and 'Mysterious Seoul'.
In the finale, Lee Je-ha and Lee Da-eum decided to live happily in the present, regardless of the impending separation. They wrote the ending of 'White Love' with the emotions they felt, fulfilling Lee Da-eum's initial determination to infuse the film with love.
The completion of 'White Love' brought new changes to the lives of everyone involved. Lee Je-ha, who had lived a bleak life, realized that eternal love was real and no longer feared the future. Lee Da-eum, who dreamed of a love that even death couldn't separate, remained vividly in Lee Je-ha's memory and in the credits of 'White Love', continuing to be with him.
Cha Seo-young (Lee Seol) learned to accept loneliness and compromise with Go Hye-young (Seo Jung-yeon), while Boo Seung-won (Seo Hyun-woo) rediscovered his passion for film. Lee Da-eum's father, Lee Jung-hyo (Kwon Hae-hyo), found a way to overcome solitude with Lee Je-ha, and the staff of 'White Love' found their own paths to love.
