The film marks Im Yoon-ah's return to the big screen, telling the story of a young man, Gil-gu (played by Ahn Bo-hyun), who takes on an extraordinary part-time job monitoring Seon-ji, who turns into a devil every night. By day, Seon-ji dreams of studying in France and runs a modest bakery, but by night, she transforms into a terrifying devil.

With such a unique character setup, Im Yoon-ah will don a wild hairstyle and striking red outfits, portraying a character unlike any in her filmography. Known for her irreplaceable charm in the 'Confidential Assignment' series and 'Exit,' Im Yoon-ah is expected to deliver her trademark lovely comedic performance in 'The Devil Came.' Additionally, she will showcase distinct acting tones for her dual roles, with a calm and clear voice for daytime Seon-ji and a strong voice, dynamic expressions, and intense laughter for the devil Seon-ji, raising audience expectations.
