Korean singer KCM (real name Kang Chang-mo, 44) has shared some joyous news with his fans.
On October 8, KCM took to Instagram to announce, "Just like the song 'You're the Most Beautiful to Me' being released today, another most beautiful gift has arrived in this world." He added, "I'm going to be a father of three 😊 Please congratulate me 🎉," along with two photos.
The photos show KCM's wife holding a teddy bear with their two daughters, while KCM proudly displays an ultrasound image, confirming the arrival of their third child.
KCM explained, "I wanted to share this happy news first with my song," and introduced the song as being inspired by the beauty, gratitude, and love he feels for his wife and family upon hearing the news of their third child. He promised, "I will continue to sing with gratitude 🙂↕️ and work even harder 🎹."
KCM married a non-celebrity, nine years his junior, in 2022. In March, he revealed through a media outlet that they already have two daughters, surprising many.
According to reports, KCM and his wife welcomed their first daughter in 2012 while they were dating, without having a wedding ceremony. Nine years later, in 2021, they registered their marriage and held a small ceremony due to the COVID-19 pandemic. At that time, their first daughter was 10 years old.
In 2022, KCM appeared on the SBS variety show 'Shoes Off, Single for Men' and shared that he married his wife after a decade-long relationship. That year, he was active as a member of the male vocal group MSG Wannabe, formed through the MBC variety show 'Hangout with Yoo,' and welcomed their second daughter.
KCM has previously shared that during the birth of their first daughter, he faced significant financial difficulties, including being scammed, which prevented them from having a wedding.
Born in 1982, KCM is now 44 years old. He debuted in 2004 with his first album 'Beautiful Mind' and is now in his 21st year in the music industry. Recently, he released the song 'To Someone Like Me,' offering comfort to those in despair and resonating with many listeners.
