Kim Yong-bin Aims for 'The Trot Show' Hall of Fame with Third Consecutive Win
Singer Kim Yong-bin is set to challenge for a spot in 'The Trot Show' Hall of Fame.

On the upcoming October 30th broadcast of SBS Life's 'The Trot Show,' the contenders for the top spot include Kim Yong-bin's 'Golden Spoon,' Jin Hae-sung's 'Love Bird' (feat. Umji), and Hwang Young-woong's 'Knitted Clothes.'

Kim Yong-bin has secured the number one position for the past two consecutive weeks. If he clinches the top spot once more, he will make his debut entry into 'The Trot Show' Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame requires three consecutive weeks at number one, serving as a measure of popularity.

The episode will also feature performances by Kim Soo-chan, Kim Yong-bin, Kim Joong-yeon, Kim Ji-hyun, Nam Seung-min, Ryu Eun-joo, Park Ji-hoo, Bin Ye-seo, Son Bin-ah, Song Min-jun, Sook-haeng, Oh Yoo-jin, Yoon Tae-hwa, Jo Jung-min, Jiwon, Cheon Rok-dam, Choi Jae-myung, Chu Hyuk-jin, Chun-gil, and Han Bom.

The chart songs and nominees for 'The Trot Show' are selected from trot genre songs released after January 1, 2022. Pre-voting for the 100 selected nominee songs is conducted over four days, one week before the live broadcast, with real-time voting taking place from 8:05 PM to 9:00 PM on the day of the live show.

The final number one song is determined by combining pre-vote scores, which include digital music scores, social media scores, broadcast scores, and voting scores, with real-time live broadcast voting.

'The Trot Show' airs live every Monday night at 8 PM on SBS Life.
