Sung Si-kyung Opens Up About Reactions to His New YouTube Content 'Kkumiltende'
Korean singer Sung Si-kyung has candidly shared his thoughts on the reactions surrounding his new YouTube content, 'Kkumiltende'.

On the 18th, Sung Si-kyung posted a lengthy message with the phrase "Tomorrow is 'Kkuten Day'" to express his perspective on the recent controversy.

He stated, "I was surprised to see articles about it. I never expected to see phrases like 'a successful YouTube channel stumbled'. I never claimed to suddenly become a super stylish, sexy guy, or a fashionista. I can't become one anyway (laughs)," he said. He continued, "The idea was for a man in his 40s, who knows nothing about 'fashion', has never properly bought clothes, and hasn't even applied skin lotion, to learn step by step with some help. But perhaps the expectations were too high, as some people mentioned changing staff and used harsh words," he expressed his regret.

Sung Si-kyung further explained, "Even if you draw lines on a pumpkin, it doesn't become a watermelon. The idea was for someone who hasn't even drawn lines before to slowly learn how to draw them, even if they can't become a watermelon," he said. "1. If I have to change staff to become stylish, then I'd rather not be stylish. 2. It's not the fault of the stylist or hair team, but rather my face and hair that are still difficult to style. 3. I understand the comments come from a place of wanting me to do well, but please refrain from criticizing the staff who are participating. It makes me feel sorry," he requested.

He added, "You know I don't easily give up on something once I start, right? I'll continue to learn slowly, so please support me," conveying his heartfelt intentions.

Meanwhile, Sung Si-kyung recently launched his new YouTube content 'Kkumiltende', drawing attention. In his first video, he admitted, "I have no interest in style, don't apply lotion, and don't buy clothes often. But lately, I've been feeling 'unattractive', so I want to try styling myself. I want to learn about fashion and change my life pattern. I feel like if I continue this way, it will just end like this, so I felt the need for change," he confessed.

Since then, with the help of a stylist, he has been attempting changes in his attire and hairstyle, creating a new look. However, among viewers, there are mixed reactions, with some appreciating the gradual improvement and others feeling that there hasn't been a significant change.
