The film 'Hi-Five' continues its impressive run, topping the Korean box office for 17 consecutive days.
'Hi-Five' is a comedic action film that tells the story of five individuals who accidentally acquire different superpowers through organ transplants and encounter those who covet their abilities. The film has maintained its position at the top of the Korean box office for 17 days straight.
According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network, 'Hi-Five' attracted a total of 228,723 viewers from October 13 to 15, during its third week of release, securing the second spot in the overall box office and the top spot among Korean films. After debuting at number one in the overall box office during its first week, 'Hi-Five' surpassed one million viewers on October 7 and reclaimed the top spot in the overall box office from October 9 to 12, showcasing its enduring popularity. Despite strong competition, 'Hi-Five' has surpassed 1.5 million cumulative viewers, continuing its successful long-term run, fueled by positive word-of-mouth from audiences.
To celebrate its success and thank audiences for their support, 'Hi-Five' has released a new poster. The special poster features the HI 5 logo and showcases the diverse and vibrant characters of Team 'Hi-Five,' including Taekwondo girl Wan-seo (Lee Jae-in), Tank Boy Ji-seong (Ahn Jae-hong), Fresh Girl Seon-nyeo (Ra Mi-ran), Battery Man Yak-seon (Kim Hee-won), as well as the sixth team member, Taekwon V's father Jong-min (Oh Jung-se), and the powerful villain Young-chun (Park Jin-young).
'Hi-Five' is currently showing in theaters nationwide.
