Kim Suji, the anchor of 'MBC Newsdesk' and wife of singer Han Ki-joo, has announced her pregnancy.

On the October 14th episode of MBC's variety show 'The Manager' (also known as 'Jeon Cham Si'), viewers were treated to a first-ever broadcast of BTS member J-Hope's solo world tour and the behind-the-scenes of Kim Suji's preparations for the MBC presidential election broadcast 'Choice 2025', which achieved a top viewership rating of 20.6%.

During the episode, J-Hope shared, “While serving in the military, I watched reruns and decided I must appear on 'The Manager' once discharged.” Currently on his first solo world tour, which has attracted 470,000 fans across 15 cities, J-Hope began his day in Bangkok, Thailand. He showcased his meticulous planning skills by completing his morning routine, including a hearty breakfast and a workout, on schedule. His manager, Ahn Dasol, perfectly complemented J-Hope's organized nature, providing viewers with delightful moments.

J-Hope, accompanied by his manager, headed to the concert venue, revealing his detailed performance routine that he has maintained since his BTS days. Upon arrival, he followed a strict schedule, including meals and consuming honey prepared by his mother, all under the watchful care of his manager.

The broadcast also featured J-Hope's Bangkok concert and backstage moments, thrilling fans with his electrifying performances of solo tracks like 'Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)' and BTS hits like 'MIC Drop'. The audience was captivated by his dynamic energy.

Known for her multifaceted career as an announcer, writer, and lyricist, Kim revealed her pregnancy, expecting to give birth in mid-October, with the baby nicknamed 'Big Hee'. She also shared her morning routine with her husband, singer Han Ki-joo, whom she married in 2021 after meeting on the MBC show 'Oh My Partner'.

Kim Suji spent a busy day preparing for the MBC 21st presidential election broadcast 'Choice 2025', conducting final rehearsals with senior announcer Jeon Jong-hwan and colleagues Cho Hyun-yong and Lee Jae-eun. The election broadcast featured cutting-edge technology, including wire cams and a six-sided LED stage, offering fresh excitement.

After completing rehearsals and newsroom meetings, Kim Suji moved to the National Assembly for an outdoor live broadcast of 'MBC Newsdesk'.
