Honey J Reflects on Reuniting with Former Rival Rihey After 8 Years

Honey J shared her thoughts on reuniting with Rihey, a former rival, after eight years as part of Team Korea 'Beomjeop'.

On the YouTube show 'Salon Drip 2', dancers Honey J, Lip J, and Lee Jung appeared as guests on October 3rd. During the episode, Honey J discussed her experience teaming up with Rihey for 'Street Woman Fighter 3' ('SWF3'). The two had a mentor-mentee relationship in the past, but misunderstandings led them to part ways and pursue separate paths. They later reunited as rivals on 'SWF1', which garnered significant attention.

Honey J described the reunion as feeling like meeting an ex-lover. "It was awkward when we arrived early for practice and were alone together," she admitted. "I would make small talk, like asking if she had eaten, just to avoid silence."

Honey J noted the growth in Rihey's contributions, saying, "In the past, I choreographed mostly by myself, but now Rihey offers a lot of input. It's impressive to see how much she's grown. I feel very supported and can now freely give her the praise I couldn't before."

Honey J was also invited as a judge at a dance battle event hosted by Rihey. She remarked, "Before 'SWF', our separation made our students uneasy. This event was meaningful as it brought all the dancers together in one place."
