K-Pop group Kickflip has set their sights on clinching the top spot on music shows.
On the afternoon of the 26th, Kickflip held a media showcase at YES24 Live Hall to celebrate the release of their second mini-album, 'Kick Out, Flip Now!'.
During the event, member Kyehoon expressed, "Our goal this time is to achieve first place on music shows. If we win, we want to present an a cappella stage for our fans."
Reflecting on their achievement of winning two awards at a music awards ceremony just 33 days after their debut, Donghwa said, "We owe our success to the fans who support us. After wrapping up our activities, we talked at the dorm about showing even more amazing performances that match the love our fans give us and discussed moving forward." Kyehoon added, "Finishing our first album, I felt assured that not giving up on the path I chose was the right decision."
'Kick Out, Flip Now!' marks Kickflip's comeback just four months after their debut album. The album includes seven tracks, including the title track 'FREEZE', and embodies the ambition to 'kick out the mold and flip the game'. The members of Kickflip personally contributed to the album poster design, adding significance to the release. The title track 'FREEZE' is a dance song with a 90s pop-punk vibe, composed by the youngest member Donghyun, with lyrics by Kyehoon, Donghwa, and Minjae.
Kickflip's second mini-album 'Kick Out, Flip Now!' will be available on various music streaming sites from 6 PM on the 26th.
