Actor Lee Jae-wook opens up about his romantic style.

On the 19th, an interview was conducted with Lee Jae-wook, who plays Hongrang in the Netflix series 'Dear Hongrang', at a café located in Jongno-gu, Seoul. Lee entered the interview in a casual outfit, different from the production presentation, and appeared more nervous than during his interview for tvN's 'Alchemy of Souls' (2023) as he shared his thoughts on the release of 'Dear Hongrang'.

'Dear Hongrang' is a mystery melodrama set in the Joseon era, revolving around Hongrang, the son of the largest trading group who returns after 12 years with no memory, and his half-sister Jae-i, who is the only one suspicious of his identity. Lee Jae-wook plays Hongrang, Jo Bo-ah plays the skeptical half-sister Jae-i, and Jung Ga-ram takes on the role of Moo-jin, the adopted son of the trading group. Uhm Ji-won and Park Byung-eun also star as Min Yeon-ui and Shim Yeol-guk, respectively.

Through 'Dear Hongrang', Lee Jae-wook showcases a devoted love. He stated, "For Hongrang, Jae-i was a ray of light. She shared the same pain. After seeking revenge and sacrificing his life for love, Hongrang found ultimate happiness by ending up with the person he loved the most."

So, how does Lee Jae-wook approach love in real life? He shared, "I tend to love selflessly. I don't like playing games or being calculative," adding that he is "like Min Yeon-ui, who gives infinite love."

Meanwhile, Lee Jae-wook is currently filming the Netflix series 'Honey Part-time Job' and is set to enlist in the military later this year.
