K-pop sensation Kim Jaejoong has announced his return to the rock genre, humorously declaring that his 'rock disease' is now cured.
On the 19th, Kim Jaejoong held a press conference at the MBC Golden Mouse Hall in Sangam-dong, Seoul, to celebrate the release of his new EP, 'Beauty in Chaos.'
During the event, Kim Jaejoong joked, "Recently, fans have been asking me to return to my 'rock disease' days, and I'm torn between whether I should stand slouched or upright," eliciting laughter from the audience.
Previously, Kim Jaejoong had humorously declared on various entertainment shows that his 'rock disease' was cured. Now returning to rock music, he stated, "I think the rock disease is cured. I tried to relapse, but it was difficult. It can come out if I intend it, but the rock disease that seemed like a teenage phase can't be recreated. However, I will do my best to show that feeling."
The title track 'ROCK STAR' is filled with intense sounds and free-spirited energy. It conveys the message that even the imperfect self hidden behind a mask is the real you, and that you can shine brighter as your own 'rock star' when you're with someone.
The album includes a total of five tracks, starting with the powerful opener 'In Chaos,' the passionate 'Miracle,' 'Last VoW' composed by band member Kim Sangmin and written by Kim Jaejoong, and 'Goal In' penned by WINNER's Kang Seung-yoon, promising to showcase the charm of 'Rock Jaejoong' without a dull moment.
Kim Jaejoong's new EP 'Beauty in Chaos' will be available on various online music platforms from 6 PM today.
