Seohyun, the renowned actress and former member of the iconic K-pop group Girls' Generation, has signed an exclusive contract with Lead Entertainment after parting ways with Namoo Actors, where she spent six years.
On the 15th, Lead Entertainment announced their new partnership with Seohyun, expressing gratitude for her decision to join the agency. Lead Entertainment is a newly established management company founded by Kim Sun-woo, a former manager at BH Entertainment. The collaboration with Seohyun is expected to create a synergistic effect in her acting career.
Seohyun debuted in 2007 as the youngest member of Girls' Generation, capturing the public's attention with her pure image and vocal talent. She built a solid fan base through her group activities and took her first step as an actress in the 2013 drama "Passionate Love."
Since then, Seohyun has expanded her acting repertoire by appearing in various genres, including "The Thieves: The Sound of the Sword," "Moral Sense," "Jinxed at First," "Private Lives," and "Time." Her deep immersion in each character has consistently earned her recognition for her acting skills, solidifying her position as a respected actress.
Currently, Seohyun is showcasing her strong acting abilities in the film "The Holy Night: Demon Hunters," where she plays a powerful exorcist. She is set to return to television on June 11th with the drama "I Took the Male Lead's First Night," set in the Joseon era. In this series, she will portray the charming yet eccentric character "Cha Seon-chek," a privileged supporting role, displaying both lovable and quirky traits.
