EXO member and solo artist Baekhyun is set to make a sweet comeback.
On the 15th, Baekhyun's agency, INB100, announced the release of the pre-release track 'Chocolate' from his fifth mini-album 'Essence of Reverie'.
Ahead of its official release on the 19th, 'Chocolate' will be unveiled, offering an addictive pop R&B sound with groovy keyboard and guitar-based swing rhythms. The lyrics, which liken a lover to sweet chocolate, are particularly striking.
The album features a variety of tracks including the title song 'Elevator', 'Lemonade', 'Love Comes Back', 'No Problem', 'Black Dreams', and 'Late Night Calls'.
'Essence of Reverie' explores Baekhyun's journey at the boundary between reality and ideals. It symbolizes his contemplation of the future, grounded in his essence as an artist. Baekhyun participated in the creation of all tracks, collaborating with Cold, known for their 'special synergy', raising anticipation.
Following the album release, Baekhyun will continue his active endeavors. He will kick off his first solo world tour 'Reverie' on November 7th and 8th at Seoul's KSPO Dome, marking 13 years since his debut. All tickets sold out immediately, proving his enduring global popularity.
Baekhyun's fifth mini-album 'Essence of Reverie' will be available on various online music platforms at 6 PM on the 19th. Baekhyun will also perform 'Chocolate' for the first time on KBS 2TV's 'Music Bank' on the 16th.
