The Boyz's Kevin Apologizes for Controversial Baseball Game Gesture

The Boyz's Kevin has issued an apology following a controversy over his behavior at a baseball game.

On the 22nd, Kevin took to The Boyz's official social media to express his regret, stating, "I sincerely apologize to the baseball-loving fans and The B members." He bowed his head in contrition.

Kevin participated as a ceremonial pitcher and batter at the Kiwoom Heroes vs. KT Wiz game held at Seoul's Gocheok Sky Dome on the 19th. During the game, he displayed a message on his phone that read, "I hope to sing the national anthem in Gwangju, the hometown of the Kia Tigers." This act drew criticism for being inappropriate as it supported a team not involved in the game.

Kevin expressed gratitude to the Kiwoom officials for their warm welcome and the opportunity, acknowledging that his careless words and actions caused discomfort to many. He admitted, "I should have solely supported the Kiwoom players, but I mentioned another team, which was careless. I am truly sorry to those who were upset by this."

He further apologized to Kiwoom fans, stating, "I apologize once again to the Kiwoom fans. I have learned a lot about how much impact words and actions can have. I will act more cautiously in the future. I'm sorry."
