On the October 14th episode of SBS's variety show 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2', the daily life of the couple Kim Yoon-ah and Kim Hyung-kyu was unveiled.
On this day, Kim Hyung-kyu appeared at the hospital with his long hair cut. Kim Yoon-ah explained, "We promised to stop eating late-night snacks. If he couldn't keep the promise, he would cut his hair. He seemed confident, but he ended up cutting his hair after just three attempts."
Kim Hyung-kyu admitted, "I realized I need to lose weight because I always keep my stomach tight, whether at the dentist or at home. You told me to tighten my stomach, but that was me already doing it."
The patient visiting the hospital that day was Kim Hyung-kyu. An alumnus doctor from S University remarked, "Your face looks similar, but you've gained weight," while special MC MyQ added, "You looked like an actor at the Cannes Film Festival last year, but now..." unable to finish his sentence.
Kim Hyung-kyu confessed, "At 177cm tall, my weight fluctuated between 58kg and 63kg. In less than 2-3 years, I've gained 15kg." He also mentioned reaching pre-stages of fatty liver and high blood pressure. Kim Yoon-ah expressed concern, "Is there a connection between weight gain and decreased immunity? Recently, he suffered from COVID-19, enteritis, food poisoning, and strange colds."
Test results showed Kim Hyung-kyu had a higher than standard body fat percentage. He shocked everyone by revealing his belly fat during a body shape examination. After an ultrasound, the doctor diagnosed him with a "typical ET body shape" and warned, "Visceral fat is directly linked to health. The normal visceral fat level is 5, but Kim Hyung-kyu's is 9, almost double." The doctor advised losing about 8-9kg of body fat.
However, Kim Hyung-kyu was caught secretly eating late-night snacks again, as Kim Yoon-ah found him eating ramen in a container, bringing laughter.
