Chef Kim Hee-eun, known for her role in Netflix's 'Chef in Black and White: Culinary Class War,' shares her challenging past on the upcoming episode of SBS's 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2.'

Airing on March 3rd, the show will feature the daily life of Chef Kim Hee-eun and her husband, Chef Yoon Dae-hyun. In a teaser, Kim Hee-eun, despite her impressive career, candidly states, "There are labels like gold spoon, silver spoon, diamond spoon, but we are spoonless," capturing viewers' attention.

The couple reveals their modest one-room lifestyle, contrasting their Michelin-starred chef status. Living without a proper vanity, Kim Hee-eun describes their home as "a one-room focused solely on function." They even recycle used cotton swabs, showcasing their frugal lifestyle.

Kim Hee-eun also opens up about her past struggles to pursue her dream of becoming a chef. She recalls, "I worked really hard at part-time jobs because I had no money. I promoted shampoo, conditioner, and cosmetics at department stores." She further shares the conflict with her father, who opposed her culinary aspirations, leading to her leaving home, a memory that brings her to tears.
