Kim Tae-woo expressed his affection for his wife.

On the 6th, TV Chosun's 'Baekban Journey with Heo Young-man' featured a special episode on domestic duck meat with god's Kim Tae-woo.

Standing at 191cm, Kim Tae-woo was welcomed by Heo Young-man, who joked, "I saw on the internet that you were 190cm, but you've grown by 1cm." When Heo Young-man stood behind the towering Kim Tae-woo, he disappeared from view, causing laughter.

Heo Young-man asked, "Do you like meat?" Kim Tae-woo replied, "Yes, I eat chicken, beef, or pork at least once a day." Heo Young-man introduced the day's theme, "Today is a meat special. A duck meat special."

As a 26-year veteran member of god, Kim Tae-woo shared, "There are five members in god. The average age is 48. Among the groups still called idols, I think we're the oldest in the world." When Heo Young-man commented, "It's a bit much to call you idols," Kim Tae-woo laughed, "That's true. Our fans don't see us as idols." Sporting a beard, he added, "Without a beard, my face looks plain."

Kim Tae-woo, known for his hearty appetite, was asked by Heo Young-man, "(When you were young) adults must have adored you. What did you eat well during your god trainee days?" Kim Tae-woo revealed, "We couldn't eat much. The company wasn't in a position to produce us. The CEO endured for about two years. He couldn't tell us to leave because he felt sorry, just kept saying 'sorry.'"

Kim Tae-woo married his wife, Kim Ae-ri, after dating for a year and a half. The couple, now in their 14th year of marriage, are parents to three children.

Tasting duck shabu-shabu, Kim Tae-woo remarked, "This is a menu you can't skip soju with," showcasing his love for alcohol. He confessed, "My wife used to drink a bit when we were dating, but after marriage, she got tired of me drinking so much at home and stopped."

Kim Tae-woo shared that he worried about financial difficulties when performances were halted due to COVID-19. He coped with the period by drinking. "With three kids, they don't eat less just because they're young. I was worried about finances," he recalled. "When we moved, I brought about 80 bottles of wine and spirits, and I drank almost all of them in a year," he admitted.

Heo Young-man commented, "In such times, your wife is your support." Kim Tae-woo responded, "I was in a state of despair at home. It was like my wife was raising four kids," and added, "I want to meet her again in the next life."
