The producer of 'Solo Hell' revealed that he almost met Lee Kwan-hee and Dex as cast members in Season 2.
On the 11th, PD Kim Jae-won and Kim Jeong-hyeon met with Ten Asia at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul and told various stories about the Netflix entertainment show 'SoloGy 3'.
'Solo Hell 3', which ended on the 9th, is an honest and hot dating reality show for singles that takes place on 'Hell Island', a remote island where only couples can go out. In Season 3, the final four couples were born: Choi Hye-sun, Lee Kwan-hee, Ahn Min-young, Lee Jin-seok, Kim Gyu-ri, Park Min-gyu, and Yoo Si-eun and Choi Min-woo.
The heroine in Season 3 of ‘Solo Hell’ was basketball player Lee Kwan-hee. Producer Kim Jae-won expressed his gratitude, saying, "He was the contestant whose final choice I was most curious about. Even the moment of making the final selection, I was curious about who he would choose. In that respect, I think he contributed greatly to the program."
He added, “Kwanhee said in an interview that he was confident that he would make it better than seasons 1 and 2, so I am grateful for protecting him.”
Lee Kwan-hee was a contestant who had applied for ‘Solo Hell’ since season 2. Producer Kim Jae-won recalled the time, "We were even more surprised that he applied. We wondered why he applied. We met and interviewed him, and he was just like himself: an honest, outspoken, and confident man."
He continued, "I wanted to be together in Season 2, but the club's training schedules overlapped at the time. I even met the club owner and begged for it, but the coach said it wouldn't work because he was new, so I gave up. If I had come last year, I would have been the same rider as Dex. If I had, I really would have. “I thought it must have been fun. That’s why I contacted him first in season 3, and this time, fortunately, our schedules matched, so we were able to bring him in. As expected, he was the best character for a reality show,” he said.
Producer Kim Jae-won said, "I have never been to the island of heaven while I was working until season 3. I protected the island of hell. Producer Kim Jeong-hyun went back and forth to the island of heaven. But the stories I heard this time were unusual, so I followed him for the first time. Kwan-hee and Min-ji were going on a date. "It was at that time, and I thought it was unique and fun while watching him walk around the room. He was a character I was interested in. I may have likes and dislikes, but he was someone I was very curious about his next move," he said, pointing out Lee Kwan-hee's charm.
