Director Choi Dong-hoon met with Ten Asia at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 5th and spoke about the movie in an interview related to the second part of the movie 'Alienoid' (Director Choi Dong-hoon).
On this day, Director Choi, who said, “I gained strength from the positive reviews of the OTT audience for the first part of ‘Alienoid’” responded positively to the question, “Can you also direct an OTT?” and said, “I can do anything. I can even do other people’s scenarios.” I raised my voice.
“If you have a good script, you can do anything. OTT is also natural. In fact, I think ‘Alienoid’ can be said to be two dramas. The problem with Korean films is that they have weak distribution power, but OTT is available to every corner of the world. You know, they say that even when you go to Peru these days, they say hello to people with the Korean finger hanji. I think OTT has great power. Well, I'm ready for everything."
Regarding the release of Part 2 1 year and 6 months after the release of Part 1, Director Choi said, "I thought about editing it so that even audiences who did not see Part 1 could enjoy watching Part 2," and "The door to Part 2 of 'Alienoid' is “It’s wide open,” he emphasized. He said, "For the audience who haven't seen the first part, I created a summary with Kim Tae-ri's narration over the course of six months, so I hope you don't worry and come see it."
