While actor Kang Kyeong-jun is embroiled in suspicions of being accused of adultery, the KBS2 entertainment show 'The Return of Superman', on which he is appearing, released a statement.
On the 4th, 'The Return of Superman' (hereinafter referred to as 'Superman') said, "'The Return of Superman' currently has no filming scenes related to Kang Kyung-jun, and there are no filming plans as of now."
He added, “Future filming plans will be discussed after this incident is completely resolved.”
According to the Dong-A Ilbo, Kang Kyung-jun was accused of incest in December last year and was embroiled in a lawsuit claiming damages worth 50 million won.
The complainant said that Kang Kyung-jun knew that Mr. A was a married woman, and that he also submitted evidence to prove this. It is reported that Kang Kyeong-jun and Mr. A are working at the same real estate brokerage company, Company S.
In response, Kang Kyeong-jun said in a phone call with Donga.com, "I think there is a misunderstanding," and "I don't know why this is happening. I haven't received the complaint yet."
Afterwards, Kang Kyung-jun's agency, K-Star Global Entity, said in an official statement, "We have confirmed that the actor received the complaint today. Looking at the contents, there is a possibility of misunderstanding. We plan to respond sequentially."
Kang Kyeong-jun, who debuted in the acting world in the 2004 MBC sitcom 'Nonstop', married actress Jang Shin-young in 2018. The two appeared on SBS' 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2' and revealed their married life, and until last week's broadcast, Jang Kyung-jun appeared with his son Jeong An-gun on 'The Return of Superman'. Since he was loved for his image as a ‘lover’ and ‘foolish son’, a blow is inevitable.
