Multiple American entertainment media outlets said, “Mariah Carey and Brian Tanaka broke up,” and “Tanaka, who is 14 years younger than Carey, wanted a child.” He added, “Tanaka wants to start his own family and start his life again.”

Carrie and ex-husband Nick Cannon have 12-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe. On the other hand, Tanaka has no children.
