In the movie 'Citizen of a Kind' (directed by Park Young-joo), actress Ra Mi-ran will show a new mother character following 'Reply 1988' and 'Bad Mom'.
'Citizen of a Kind' is a thrilling chase drama that unfolds when Deok-hee, an ordinary citizen who has been subjected to voice phishing, receives a rescue request from Jae-min, a member of a scam organization.
Actress Ra Mi-ran returns in 'Citizen of a Kind' as Deok-hee, an ordinary citizen and strong mother who suffered voice phishing. Deok-hee loses all her money due to a phone call from Manager Son (Gong Myeong). After being scammed by voice phishing, Deok-hee, who has no place to go and has to make a living for her two children, gets a call again, and the call is an SOS from Assistant Manager Son asking her to get her out of this organization. Deok-hee, who has to find the money she lost and protect her children, has no choice but to believe Director Son's request for rescue and heads to Qingdao to arrest the leader.
Ra Mi-ran said, "In Deok-hee's situation, facing reality in a corner, the position of mother felt burdensome and difficult. With that feeling, I became Deok-hee and moved even more desperately."
The movie 'Citizen of a Kind' will be released on January 24, 2024.
