Movie 'a Wild Roomer' won the grand prize at the 17th Five Flavors Asian Film Festival

The movie 'Monster' (directed by Lee Jeong-hong) won the grand prize at the 17th Five Flavors Asian Film Festival.

'The Stranger' is a captivating work depicting the cracks in everyday life that unfold as carpenter Ki-hong discovers that the roof of his car has been dented and sets out to find the culprit.

Five Flavors Asian Film Festival is a film festival that introduces leading Northeast and Southeast Asian films to Polish audiences, and last October, 'The Monster' was officially invited to the 'New Asian Cinema Category', which introduces new works that expand the boundaries of cinematic imagination. It won the grand prize after opening on November 15th.

The judges commented on the film, saying, "It is like a mirror reflecting reality," and "It corrects the disillusionment and material needs of modern society through a series of events and accidents." After its release, directors Yeon Sang-ho, Byun Young-joo, actors Bong Tae-gyu, film critics Dong-jin Lee, and film critics Jeong Seong-il also praised the film.
