Lee Dong-wook was interviewed by Ten Asia about the movie 'Single in Seoul' (directed by Park Beom-soo) at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul on the 21st.
'Single in Seoul' is a realistic, relatable romance depicting the story of power influencer Young-ho (Lee Dong-wook), who likes to be alone, and publisher editor-in-chief Hyun-jin (Im Soo-jeong), who hates being alone, as they create a book about single life.
On this day, Lee Dong-wook was asked, "Will you be spending Christmas with Jo Se-ho this year?" and laughed, saying, "We have filming scheduled for Christmas this year. I'm so glad." He continued, “I filmed ‘Harbin’ during Christmas last year, and I was really, really happy,” making everyone laugh.
Lee Dong-wook said that he had been single for a long time, and said, "What will happen? It's not like it will happen if I struggle," and gave a somewhat resigned look, making people laugh.
In particular, Lee Dong-wook said that he sympathized with the scene in 'Single in Seoul' where he had fragments of different memories from his ex-girlfriend. "It seemed like a lot of male audience members sympathized with this part. Many of them said, 'I wanted to kick the blanket.'" He said.
“I must have been awkward at dating in my early 20s. So I thought the things I said were perfect based on my logic, but I think they were weak and immature. I fully sympathized with that, and I expect the audience to do the same. ."
‘Single in Seoul’ will be released on the 29th.
