Minho appeared on the 'Open Interview' corner of Channel A's weekend evening 'News A', which aired at 7 pm on the 14th, and met with anchor Kim Yun-soo to talk candidly about a wide range of topics, including SHINee's 15th debut anniversary, solo singer debut, acting activities, and soccer hobbies. First, Minho said, “I am grateful for the much interest and love from all over the world,” regarding the fact that Minho ranked first on the iTunes Top Album Chart in 42 regions around the world after the release of his first solo album ‘CHASE’. This is my first album under my name, so I had a lot of desire to do well, so I put a lot of my opinions into it. “It is an album more precious than anything else because it contains the hard work of the staff who helped us.”
In addition, Minho, who celebrated his 15th debut anniversary this year, was asked about the pressure as an artist, and said, "As an artist who makes popular art, I always try to have a positive influence on the public, and I am satisfied if I have a positive influence rather than the pressure. Of course, there were difficult times, but I received a lot of help from good people around me. “In particular, TVXQ senior Changmin Changmin listened to my story a lot and helped me.”
In addition, when asked about his acting activities while introducing the recently released Netflix series 'The Fabulous', he said, "Acting as an actor is something I like, so I want to try various roles in the future," and said that in addition to being a singer and actor, he also has hobbies. He even talked about soccer, revealing his extraordinary passion in many ways.
Lastly, when asked whether he would like to remain as singer Minho or actor Choi Minho, he responded, “Rather than any other image, I would like to remain as SHINee Minho. “I think it’s cool to approach the public with a new and more developed side,” he said.
