Seo Ji-hye eventually crossed the line after a detailed plan to pursue her desire for Lee Sang-woo.
The 10th episode of TV CHOSUN's weekend mini-series 'Red Balloon', which aired on the 15th, soared to a national viewership rating of 7.7% and the highest viewer rating per minute to 8.5% based on Nielsen Korea.
In episode 10 of 'Red Balloon', Jo Eun-gang (played by Seo Ji-hye) becomes angry when she learns the true intentions of Han Bada (played by Hong Soo-hyun), who used her poor situation for money, and provides an excuse for Han Bada and Ko Cha-won (played by Lee Sang-woo) to misunderstanding and conflict with each other. After doing so, he was shown spending a hot night with a high-level person who was shaken by him.
Jo Eung-kang was concerned about the fact that Han Bada's jewelry design had been passed on to a competitor, and to tell him about it, he went to Han Bada, who was drinking with Shin Ki-han (played by Choi Seong-jae). Shin Ki-han, who did not know that Jo Eungang had come, made a fuss to Hanbada, “I asked my mother why she sticks around with Eungang, and she says that she will do anything for you if you give her money, so where do you get a kid like that? You said she’s perfect for manipulating you.” He heard this while hiding. Jo Eunkang froze like ice.
And Jo Eung-kang, who got up first from the drinking party, called Hanbada to see if he was okay, and when Shin Gi-han answered the phone instead of the drunk Hanbada, he immediately informed Go Cha-won of the situation. Feeling uncomfortable, Go Cha-won headed to the bar to pick up Han Bada and showed a displeased expression after witnessing Han Bada and Shin Gi-han flirting like lovers. He even got into a fight with Shin Ki-han to carry Han Bada, who had lost her mind due to drunkenness, and then returned home and drank alone to blow off his anger.
The next day, Jo Eun-gang pretended to be embarrassed when Go-cha-won asked what the relationship between Han Bada and Shin Gi-han was, but when Go-cha-won, who was distressed by saying, “I think a crisis has come to our couple,” asked if Shin Gi-han had also provided funds for home shopping, he replied, “I couldn’t help because of business.” “I would have received it,” he lied. Moreover, Jo Eun-gang pretended to persuade Go-cha-won by saying that Shin Gi-han liked the sea in the past, but married Go-cha-won, and then deliberately made Go-cha-won listen, saying, “It’s the sea. You should stop contacting Mr. Kihan. He gave me goosebumps by pretending to talk on the phone, saying, “We even kissed in Sokcho, and if my mom wasn’t there, we would have gotten into an accident.” Go Cha-won, who hid himself and listened to Jo Eung-kang's words, made a perplexed expression as if he had been stabbed in the back of the head.
On the other hand, Jo Eun-kang confronted Yeo Jeon-hee (played by Lee Sang-sook), who was once again spewing out degrading words, and in response to Yeo Jeon-hee's comment, "You're living thanks to the ocean," she responded, "I'll be nice to you, even if it hurts you." Finally, Jo Eungang said to Yeo Jeonhee, who was pushing him, “Stop. I spent 20 years living in the sea for the sin of not being born into a family as rich as the sea. I was hurt enough without crushing it like this. Do you want a sea divorce? “Then what are you going to do?” he attacked without hesitation. Above all, Jo Eung-gang felt uneasy when Yeo Jeon-hee said that she had recorded it to be heard by Han Bada and Go Cha-won, but fortunately, when she found out that it had not been recorded, she ran away crying and fooled everyone.
Afterwards, Go Cha-won, who witnessed Han Bada trying to hug Han Bada and slapping her, called Jo Eung-kang, and while drinking, he expressed his doubts, saying, “You two are not male and female friends.” Jo Eun-kang comforted Go-cha while hiding a smile of regret, but when Go-cha was asked if he had contacted Han Bada due to the recording incident, he replied, “I’m not even a friend to Bada. She's just a maid. “He’s an errand boy who will do anything for you if you give him money,” he said, shedding tears. In response, Go Cha-won wiped Jo Eung-kang’s tears, saying, “Mr. Eungang is a bright and good person, and he is more precious than anyone else in this world.” The two people, who were passionately facing each other, exchanged trembling eyes and kissed, and gave a 'passionate ending' in which they fell into bed while making passionate love in a hotel room, foreshadowing the uncontrollable catastrophe that would unfold in the future.
Meanwhile, Jo Eun-san (played by Jeong Yu-min) was shocked to see Jin Jin-cheol (played by Lee Seong-jae) with his wife Go Geum-ah (played by Kim Hye-sun). Jo Eun-san said to Jin Jin-cheol, “I want to be mine forever. I decided to live for just one month, but I don't think I can keep that promise. “We’ll get caught,” he said and hugged Jin-cheol from behind, embarrassing him. Moreover, even after hearing the junk dealer (played by Yoon Joo-sang), who found out about his son-in-law's affair, yell at Jin Jin-cheol to stop and end it, he stubbornly said, "Give me time," and predicted an uneasy future for him.
‘Red Balloon’ airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:10 PM.
