Broadcaster Mija's mother, former voice actor Jeon Seong-ae, confessed her family history.
Recently, a video titled 'Mother and daughter got into a big fight while drinking and ended up fighting in front of their son-in-law' was posted on the YouTube channel 'Mizane Tavern'.
In the released video, a fan's story about feeling distant from his mother was told. Mija, who heard this, said, "It seems similar to my mother's mother and my grandmother."
Jeon Seong-ae said, “I get emotional when I talk about my mother,” and added, “It may not be the image that we usually have when we think of mothers, where we can run to and hug them at any time. ”
He added, "If that's the case, then I don't expect anything more from that. I should pay more attention to my relationship with my child than my relationship with my mother. I shouldn't become the same mother, right?"
In response to Jeon Seong-ae's words, Mija asked, "Wasn't your grandmother a bit cold-hearted? I think she was as scary as a tiger to my mother."
Jeon Seong-ae confessed, “I had four siblings, and because I was the eldest daughter, I became the target of (my mother's) anger.” In addition, she said, "My mother has made my whole life very difficult. After getting married, I was shocked when my husband Jang Gwang said, 'You can't feel your mother's arms.' "I think I cried for a day or two at that time."
Jeon Seong-ae said, "After hearing that story, my values changed. My goal was to become a good mother," adding, "I think I tried my best to be a good mother to my children."
