Singer Seong Si-kyung revealed his thoughts on activities in Japan.
Recently, Seong Si-kyung conducted a live broadcast titled 'After a Long Time' through his YouTube channel.
Sung Si-kyung said, "Bad people speak badly. There are people who ask why I like Japan so much."
He continued, "I always say this, but I think I've studied history much more than you, who criticizes me so much. I'm Korean, and I'm a person with sound thoughts."
He also said, "The Japanese market is a very attractive market for singers, and is three times larger than our country. Idols are all the rage right now. The moment they are released, they take first place. If you think about it, they are all idols."
He said, "This time, I went to Thailand and saw the 'Golden Disk' MC, and I felt like I was at someone else's festival. I was so jealous of my juniors, the Korean Wave, and K-pop. I wondered If I was really these friends' senior. Of course, in Korea. "My career isn't bad. “I performed well and enjoyed popularity, but I thought I was a senior in the popular K-pop scene,” he confessed.
In addition, “I thought that I wanted to work hard with my singing and perform at a Budokan in Japan. (In Japan) Koreans also support me when I reach a high level. Then, people say, 'Sung Si-kyung is doing it in a big stadium like idols do? ' “But if you can't do it, they won't support you,” he said, adding, “I don't want to hear people say things like that because I'm just crawling around unfashionably. “I want to be successful and show it off.” He revealed his dream.
Lastly, he said, “I am challenging myself because I want to hear from both the people who criticize me for trying hard to promote in Japan and the fans who support me and say, 'You work hard with your singing and language so you are more than an idol.'” He added, “It is a personal greed. “I will never do it.” “I will not say or do anything unnecessary,” he added.
