Park Seong-gwang's debut feature film 'Woongnam' to be released in March

Comedian Park Seong-gwang's debut feature film 'Woongnam' has been confirmed to be released in March.

According to distributor CJ CGV on the 3rd, 'Woongnam' has confirmed its release in March. 'Woongnam' is a comical action drama about a man with a special secret called Asiatic Black Bear, who uses his unique beast-like abilities to cooperate in an investigation against an international criminal organization.

Park Seong-woong plays two roles in ‘Woongnam’. He is a bear-turned-human character, and plays Woong-nam, a former police officer who possesses superhero-like abilities due to his bear-like characteristics and is now an unemployed local man, and Woong-buk, the second-in-command of an international criminal organization.

Lee Yi-kyung and Yeom Hye-ran are also expected to bring a lot of laughter with their passionate acting and unique friendly acting. In addition, Choi Min-soo, who heightens the tension just by appearing, appears as the boss of an international criminal organization, heightening the tension in the play. Park Seong-gwang, who is a comedian and has even won awards at film festivals, takes the megaphone and presents comedy and action.

The 'Woongnam' teaser poster released along with this gives a glimpse of Park Sung-woong's polar opposites. Among the fluttering mugworts, Woongnam appears with a naive appearance, like an unemployed idiot from the neighborhood, and when combined with the phrase, 'The guy who became mellow after eating mugwort', it stimulates curiosity about his identity. In direct contrast to this, the appearance of Woongbuk, who dominates the atmosphere in a suit and with menacing eyes, predicts a character that is spicier and stronger than garlic, as in the phrase 'the guy who became poisonous after eating garlic'.
