Interview with Kim Hee-won for the Netflix movie ‘I Just Dropped My Smartphone’
On the 22nd, an interview with Kim Hee-won of the Netflix movie 'I Just Dropped My Smartphone' (director Kim Tae-jun) was conducted at a cafe in Sogyeok-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul.
'I Just Dropped My Smartphone' is a thriller that tells the story of an ordinary office worker who loses his smartphone containing all his personal information and his entire daily life begins to be threatened. Kim Hee-won played the role of Ji-man, an ordinary office worker who lost her smartphone, Na-mi (played by Cheon Woo-hee), and a detective who chased after Jun-yeong (played by Im Si-wan), a serial killer who picked up Na-mi's smartphone.
On this day, Kim Hee-won said about 'House on Wheels', "Actually, I was really attracted to it at first when it was season 1. But since it was popular, they said they would do it again. Then, I saw that the staff was having a hard time. I'm sorry, they are having a really hard time. “I did Season 2 with my heart. From Season 3 onwards, I started doing it because I became attached to people,” he said with a smile.
"Actually, I hated camping, but while doing this, I learned how to set up a tent and became more friendly with cooking. Seong Dong-il is also good at cooking. I wasn't used to entertainment, but I still got used to it. Driving a camping car. It was also good. I went 40km slowly and other than feeling a bit sleepy, I was fine.”
"Even though the lines are a bit long, I can memorize them in 10 to 15 minutes, but strangely, I can't remember phone numbers. Recently, I thought I still needed to know the manager's number, so I tried hard to memorize it, but I couldn't remember it again. I tend to forget things a bit. And lately, I've been texting. “I received a phone call, and the person on the other end said he was surprised. He said, ‘Oh, that’s right,’ so now he’s asking if I can talk to him and calling him.”
Kim Hee-won said she wants to act until she is at least 70 years old. He laughed and said, “I am happiest when I am working. I don’t want to do it at the moment, but working makes me happy.” "Actually, there aren't many roles for people over 60. Still, 60 is still young, so I think I should work until 70. I think I should also retire at 70. I'm still healthy, but aren't I bored? Actually, when I act as I get older, I feel better. “It’s the same, but I think other people will feel uncomfortable.”
Some people praise Kim Hee-won for her good body proportions. In relation to this, Kim Hee-won said, "I don't exercise, but I don't eat much, so I'm on the thin side. In the past, I ate a lot, boiling ramen and eating it with rice, but now I feel full just by eating ramen." He said.
At the same time, he dreamed of becoming a 'long-lived actor' who would meet the public for a long time, saying, "From now on, I will have to take care of my body consistently."
‘I Just Dropped My Smartphone’ was released on Netflix on February 17th.
