'Brain Collaboration' Jung Yong-hwa found out that the real culprit who murdered his parents was Dong-hwan Jeong, and got caught up in Jeong Dong-hwan's scheme.
In the 15th episode of KBS 2TV's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Brain Collaboration', which aired on the 27th, Shin Haru (played by Jung Yong-hwa) performed hypnosis himself to identify the real culprit of his parents' murder case, and was shocked when he found out that the culprit was Hwang Dong-woo (played by Jeong Dong-hwan). The appearance was included.
Shin Haru asked Hwang Dong-woo who the culprit was, but Hwang Dong-woo offered to get out of prison with the documents necessary to suspend the execution and inform him of the real culprit when he arrived at the hospital. Shin Haru, who did not want to be swayed by Hwang Dong-woo, set out to find clues himself. He struggled by visiting the house he lived in as a child and asking Geum Myeong-se (Cha Tae-hyun) if he could find any clues to his parents' murder case. Fortunately, Shin Haru met the detective in charge of his parents' murder case thanks to Geum Myeong-se, and was confused when he heard from the detective in charge that the culprit was most likely center director Park Chi-guk (played by Lim Cheol-hyung) and not Hwang Dong-woo.
Meanwhile, a thesis written in Shin Haru's father's name arrived at Shin Haru's house. Shin Ji-hyung (played by Kim Soo-jin), who saw this, expressed his suspicions about the center director, telling Shin Haru that he seemed to have stolen the thesis that your father had written. Shin Haru then asked if the center director was the culprit and declared that he would accept Hwang Dong-woo's offer since Hwang Dong-woo said he had evidence of the culprit. In the end, Hwang Dong-woo was transferred to a university hospital based on Shin Haru's letter of suspension of execution. Shin Haru received a clue about the evidence from Hwang Dong-woo and headed to an abandoned warehouse in Incheon.
In the abandoned warehouse, Shin Haru found evidence such as a conversation with Hwang Dong-woo that implied that the center director was the culprit and the missing mountaineering knife that the detective in charge of the case had told him about, and was convinced that the center director was the real culprit. The director of the center who appeared just in time was aggrieved and said that although it was true that he stole the thesis, Hwang Dong-woo was the one who killed your father. Shin Haru said harshly, “I will expose your ugly side to the world.” The center director then attacked Shin Haru with an iron pipe, leading to a fight between the two. Soon, Shin Haru, filled with anger, took out the mountain knife that was evidence and attempted to stab the center director in the neck. At that moment, Geummyeongse appeared and tried to dissuade Shin Haru. The center director cried, “It’s not me. Please! Remember. It’s in your memories! You saw it all.” Shin Haru ran to the police station with Geum Myeong-se to receive hypnosis, saying he would check for himself.
Shin Haru's hypnosis was carried out under the leadership of Seol So-jeong (played by Kwak Sun-young). Shin Haru returned to the day of the incident in 1994 and saw his parents lying bleeding. When his mother shouted at him to run away, Shin Haru threw dirt at the assailant who was approaching him with a knife and hid inside his car in the parking lot. Seol So-jeong, who was conducting the hypnosis, ordered Shin Haru to look at the culprit's face when he heard that the person was knocking on the car window, but Shin Haru could not open his eyes due to fear. Shin Haru, who was in hypnosis when he finally opened his eyes, saw the criminal's face and did not want to wake up from the hypnosis as he met his parents, whom he had longed for. Shin Haru's eyes widened when his father said, "Go and tell me. Who the culprit is?" and revealed to the neuroscience team members that the culprit was Hwang Dong-woo.
Immediately, Shin Haru used the location tracker for Hwang Dong-woo that he had already planted with Geum Myeong-se to locate Hwang Dong-woo at the university hospital, but he felt something was strange. After checking, we found out that Hwang Dong-woo left the hospital and drove away. The two chased after Hwang Dong-woo's car, but there was someone other than Hwang Dong-woo in the car. After returning to the hospital and checking the CCTV, they found out that Hwang Dong-woo had escaped leisurely with someone's help. Shin Haru noticed that the person who helped Hwang Dong-woo was someone he had met at his house when he was young, and headed there with Geum Myeong-se. However, it wasn't long before the two people found Hwang Dong-woo that he lost consciousness after smelling the gas coming out.
Shin Haru and Geum Myeong-se were forced by Hwang Dong-woo to participate in a bizarre 'empathy game'. Shin Haru and Geum Myeongse, who had lost consciousness after inhaling the gas, were embarrassed when they woke up to find themselves tied to chairs and with brain wave measuring devices attached to their heads. When Geum Myeong-se shouted, “What are you doing? This!” Hwang Dong-woo said, “We’re going to start a game. It’s an empathy game. It’s the so-called Make a Murderer Game.” Shin Haru looked angry, and Geum Myeong-se looked embarrassed.
