Actress Jeon So-ni talked about Kim Da-mi, her co-star in the movie 'Soulmate'.
On the afternoon of the 28th, a press screening of the movie 'Soul Mate' (directed by Min Yong-geun) was held at the Lotte Cinema Konkuk University entrance in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. Actors Kim Da-mi, Jeon So-ni, Byun Woo-seok, and director Min Yong-geun attended the press conference held after the preview.
'Soul Mate' is the story of two friends, Miso (played by Da-mi Kim), Ha-eun (played by So-ni Jeon), and Jin-woo (played by Woo-seok Byeon), who recognized each other from their first meeting and shared everything together, including joy, sadness, excitement, and longing.
In the play, Jeon So-ni plays Ha-eun. Ha-eun, behind her calm and neat appearance, is a person with a stronger heart than anyone else. She is a deep friend who longs for the freedom of a smile, but also serves as a strong fence so that she can always come back.
On this day, Jeon So-ni said, "We all met together after waiting in Jeju since Free. I realized the Jeju Island that I had pictured in my head since Free. She said that the scenery of Jeju resembles the color, temperature, and humidity of youth. We really are the nature of Jeju. “I had that feeling while filming in the forest. When I returned to Seoul and looked back on the filming part of Jeju Island, I remembered the amazing experience of those times, which felt like a dream and my own memories.”
He continued, "I was worried about getting closer before filming. The time I personally spent with Dami while filming was a good memory. Although it was lonely and difficult while filming, I felt like I could tell this person things I couldn't tell others due to my pride. The difficult part while filming was He added, "I depended on him when I was there, and we were like comrades in arms. Even when I showed him my shortcomings, we became okay with each other. I felt closer at that time."
Meanwhile, 'Soulmate' will be released on March 15th.
