The first press stills from the movie 'Rebound' (directed by Jang Hang-jun) have been released.
On the 2nd, distributor Barunson E&A Co., Ltd. released 16 types of press stills from the first round of 'Rebound', which contain the fresh and passionate appearance of Coach Kang and the players.
'Rebound' is a miraculous story of eight days in which the new coach and six players of the weakest basketball team that no one paid attention to ran tirelessly during the 2012 National High School Basketball Tournament.
The released stills give a glimpse into the sweat, youth, and passion of new coach Kang Yang-hyeon (played by Ahn Jae-hong) and the players who devoted themselves to the basketball they love and love. Ahn Jae-hong, who played Kang Yang-hyeon, who was once a high school basketball MVP, but is now a public service worker and has become the new coach of his alma mater, which is on the verge of disbandment, became one with the gym uniform and melted into the character.
Because he is a new coach, he sometimes falls and falls, but he leads the players with his love for basketball. Not only Coach Kang, but also Ki-beom (played by Shin-young Lee) who was considered a genius guard in middle school but fell into a slump, Gyu-hyuk (played by Jin-woon Jeong) who dominated middle school basketball with Ki-beom but gave up his dream due to an injury, and Sun-gyu, a former soccer player who is playing basketball for the first time. (played by Kim Taek), Kang-ho (played by Jeong Geon-ju) who has only played street basketball, Jae-yoon (played by Kim Min) who has been on the basketball team since elementary school, but has been on the bench for the rest of his life, and Jin-wook (played by Ahn Ji-ho), a new member of the basketball team who is full of passion, there are only 6 people on the basketball court. The players who filled the space also stand out.
For every steal, the players, wearing sweaty sportswear but shining with passion, exude hot energy as they move freely between dunks and dribbles. In particular, the vivid sense of reality of the stadium and the overwhelming sense of immersion that can be felt even in the stills were created through the tireless efforts of director Jang Hang-jun, who “thought that game scenes were very important because it was a sports movie.”
Meanwhile, 'Rebound' will be released in April.
