《Kang Min-kyung’s Insert》
Like an insert scene that magnifies important points in a movie, TenAsia reporter Kang Min-kyung focuses on issues in the film industry. Let’s take a closer look at the front and back of the hot topic from a three-dimensional perspective.

Singer Lim Young-woong’s power stands out in theaters across the country. The movie 'I'm Hero the Final', which features the national tour encore performance 'IM HERO', will be held for the first time outside of the metropolitan area with a centrally controlled lightstick screening.

'I'm Hero the Final', released on March 1, is a film that contains the live performance of Lim Young-woong's national tour encore concert 'I'm Hero (IM HERO)' held at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul in December last year.

'I'm Hero the Final' started in 4th place at the box office, attracting 51,972 people on the first day of its release. As of the 8th, the cumulative number of viewers was 152,977. This is the number of audiences mobilized only by actual ticket holders without any paid previews. It easily surpassed Kim Ho-joong's 'Thank You, Thank You: Kim Ho-joong's First Fan Meeting Movie', which attracted 100,000 people.

Heroes' Generation, Lim Young-woong's fandom, is visiting the theater to once again feel the excitement of the concert held at Gocheok Sky Dome. In particular, it has been confirmed to be released in four countries: Malaysia, Hong Kong, the United States, and Thailand in April. It has expanded beyond its domestic popularity to the global market.

'I'm Hero the Final' is an exclusive release by CGV and is shining on Screen X, a special theater and optimized format where you can watch the movie on three sides. This is because it replicates the concert scene with vivid screens and sounds. Artist Lim Young-woong's sincerity, which can only be seen in movies, was added.

CGV Communications Team Leader Hwang Jae-hyeon said, "I think 'I'm Hero the Final' will be an unforgettable entertainment in the era of heroes. Audiences who were unable to watch the concert at Gocheok Sky Dome will feel as if they are at Gocheok Sky Dome at the movie theater. “This is an opportunity for the audience who watched the concert to once again feel the emotion and joy they felt at the concert.”

CGV organized a Yeongsibong screening for ‘I’m Hero the Final’. Yeongsibong is an abbreviation for the cheering stick of the Heroic Age. Youngsibong is a must-have item for any fan of Lim Young-woong. Previously, Yeongsibong screenings were held at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall, Yeongdeungpo, and Wangsimni. The inside of the theater was filled with sky blue waves.

Thanks to the support of Heroic Age, an encore Yeongsibong screening will be held. Encore Youngsibong screenings will be held at CGV Gwangju Terminal, CGV Daejeon, and CGV Centum City. The Yeongsibong screening held in Seoul was expanded to regional areas.

This encore screening will be the first of its kind to be held outside of the metropolitan area and will be filled with sky-blue waves by applying the same central control (console) system used at the concert venue. Team Leader Hwang explained, “In order to deliver special joy to the Heroic Age, Lim Young-woong’s agency, Fish Music, CJ 4DPLEX, and CGV, are collaborating to carry out the event.”

Currently, Encore Yeongsibong screenings have been confirmed to be held in Gwangju, Daejeon, and Busan. There is also a possibility that a Yeongsibong screening may be added. Regarding this, Team Leader Hwang said, "Nothing has been confirmed at this time as it is something that needs to be discussed with the agency and fan club. However, you can enjoy a concert-like atmosphere in the theater and the response has been high, so we plan to review it in the future."

CGV held light stick screenings through its central control system when movies such as BTS, MONSTA X, NCT 127, and NCT DREAM were released. But it was limited to Seoul. For the first time, the Yeongsibong screening will be held in a local area. Lim Young-woong and the power of the Heroic Age are expected to be covered in sky-blue waves wherever they are.
