Actor and singer Kim Chang-wan expressed his feelings about playing a good character for the first time in a long time.
KBS2's new weekend drama 'The Real Thing Has Appeared!' was held at the Sindorim Ramada Hotel in Sindorim-dong, Seoul on the 22nd. A production presentation was held. Director Han Jun-seo and actors Baek Jin-hee, Ahn Jae-hyeon, Cha Joo-young, Chung Eui-je, Kang Bu-ja, Hong Yo-seop, Cha Hwa-yeon, Kim Hye-ok, and Kim Chang-wan attended the event.
‘The Real Appears’ is a work about the romance of a fake contract between a single mother and an unmarried man surrounding the ‘real’ baby in her womb. It is a humanistic family drama that depicts the ups and downs of a family's growth as they become 'Avengers' through pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare.
Kim Chang-wan takes on the role of Jang Ho, the father of Jang Se-jin (Cha Joo-young) and the old school principal. Kim Chang-wan said,
He's not a real villain this time. Director Ahn Pan-seok threw me into the pit of being a villain in ‘White Tower’. “After that, I couldn’t play a good role, but director Han Jun-seo saved me,” he said, making people laugh.
He added, "The aging society is not something that happened yesterday or today. I have played good roles several times in my past, but while doing this work, rather than returning to good roles, I wanted to throw myself into the future society that is coming."
‘The real thing has appeared!’ will be broadcast for the first time on the 25th at 8:05 PM.
