‘Doctor Cha Jeong-sook’ viewership rating of 8.6%
'Doctor Cha Jeong-sook' Uhm Jeong-hwa has launched a fierce counterattack to find true happiness and 'me'.

In the second episode of JTBC's Saturday-Sunday drama 'Doctor Cha Jeong-sook', which aired on the 16th, Cha Jeong-sook (played by Eom Jeong-hwa), a 20-year-old full-time housewife, was depicted completing her awakening and attempting to reboot her life.

Cha Jeong-suk realizes that she has nothing of her own in the happy family she built in exchange for her dreams and career. Viewers poured out sympathetic support for his fierce counterattack, which he finally looked back on his life after overcoming the life-and-death crisis.

The viewer ratings for the second episode were 7.8% nationwide and 8.6% in the metropolitan area (Nielsen Korea, based on paid households), ranking first in the same time slot. Target 2049 audience rating also reached 2.4%, ranking first in the same time slot.

Cha Jeong-sook, who broke the prejudice and succeeded in becoming a resident, entered the hospital where her husband Seo In-ho (Kim Byeong-cheol) and Choi Seung-hee (Myung Se-bin) were. It raised even more expectations for Cha Jeong-sook's future performance to see how her dynamic residency challenge will unfold and what kind of storm her fiery rebellion will bring.

On this day, Cha Jeong-sook returned to her normal daily life, but was overcome with regret due to the feeling of betrayal by the people she trusted the most. Even after the surgery, Jeongsuk's life did not improve.

Cha Jeong-suk's awakening began as the fantasy of what she thought was an elegant and perfect family was shattered in an instant, as her demanding husband was still cold and the family members were not grateful for the carefully prepared table. Cha Jeong-sook, who had never looked out for herself in 20 years, changed, saying, “Now I’m going to live the way I want.”

Cha Jeong-suk's first act of rebellion is hitting her sleeping husband, Seo In-ho, in the face with a full swing. Still, Cha Jeong-suk, who was not relieved of her anger, continued her second rebellion. Cha Jeong-suk, who felt skeptical that she had nothing in her name other than a cell phone after living there for 20 years, notified Seo In-ho that she wanted to put the house in joint names, but it was canceled due to her mother-in-law's opposition. I stopped attending to my family every now and then.

Cha Jeong-suk, who had completely forgotten what she liked and what happiness was, was moved by her mother's words, "You liked studying best." Cha Jeong-sook, who gained courage from the support of her lifesaver, Roy Kim (played by Min Woo-hyuk), decided to try her major again.

Cha Jeong-sook's residency challenge faced reality from the beginning. Contrary to Jeong-suk's fervent determination, her husband In-ho's reaction was cold. He snorted at Jeong-sook's words about taking on the challenge of becoming a resident and struck a direct attack by saying, "Who says they're happy to see an old, sick resident?" Despite her husband's disdain, Cha Jeong-sook, the 'elite of yesteryear', passed the exam with a high score.

The joy was short-lived, and Cha Jeong-sook once again realized the high walls of reality. It was not easy for Cha Jeong-sook, who was old and had undergone liver transplant surgery, to be given the opportunity. Although she had expected it, the questions that came at her during the interview became a dagger and pierced Jeongsuk's heart. Jeong-suk, who had hit a wall she could never overcome, was eventually notified of her rejection, and In-ho was relieved to hear his wife's news, even dancing on his shoulders.

However, at the end of the broadcast, Cha Jeong-sook, who was said to have failed, appeared as a resident in the family medicine department at Gusan University Hospital, heralding a twist. Attention is focused on what kind of twist has happened to Cha Jeong-sook and the upheaval that will come to Seo In-ho and Choi Seung-hee, whose dangerous double lives are facing a crisis.

Meanwhile, on this day, the amazing relationship between Cha Jung-sook, Seo In-ho, and Choi Seung-hee was also revealed. Cha Jeong-sook was the one who unexpectedly broke up Seo In-ho and Choi Seung-hee, a famous campus couple. Afterwards, Seo In-ho and Choi Seung-hee, who reunited during a training session in the United States, continued an inappropriate relationship. It raises curiosity about what will happen to the three people who reunite at a hospital.

Meanwhile, ‘Doctor Cha Jeong-sook’ airs every Saturday and Sunday at 10:30 PM.
