Cho Jin-woong, Choi Won-young, Park Myung-hoon, and Kwon Yul from tvN's 'Europe Outside the Tent - Spain' enjoyed the pleasure of 'real camping' in the mysterious rock village of Setenil.
In the 9th episode of tvN's 'Europe Outside the Tent - Spain', which aired on the 27th, the four people were shown enjoying Setenil's leisurely schedule.
On the 8th day of camping, the members moved to Setenil, a quiet and relaxing place in the southern Spanish countryside. Setenil's campsite is a place visited only by locals among locals, and this is already the fifth campground for the members. As such, the members are now able to set up tents quite skillfully.
The first dinner menu at Setenil was ‘Chapaguri’. It was even more memorable in that actor Park Myung-hoon, who appeared in the movie 'Parasite', personally showed off his cooking. According to the original recipe, Korean beef strips should have been used as toppings, but Myeong-hoon Park put a generous amount of olive oil on the noodles and added a fried egg as a topping. Park Myung-hoon's debut as main chef was successful. The members finished their meal with satisfaction, showing the bottom of their bowls.
Cho Jin-woong suggested to the members, “Let’s take a day off and relax.” The members spent time in their own way at Setenil Campground, which is optimized for healing. The sight of Kwon Yul, who diligently washed the dishes in the morning and became a 'geek', and Cho Jin-woong next to him was heart-warming. Cho Jin-woong and Kwon Yul said, “There was a compulsion that made me feel like I had to do something, but it’s nice to have some free time.” I decided to make a sandwich with the avocados I bought in the Pyrenees. Cho Jin-woong, who did not normally like avocados, opened his eyes to the taste of avocados after tasting the sandwich made by Kwon Yul, saying, "It's strange. Avocados are delicious."
After enjoying plenty of time at the campsite, the four people got in the car and headed to Setenil Village. Setenil, thought to be a quiet countryside, was actually famous for its unique architectural style related to the sun. In fact, the moment they entered the village entrance, the members could not keep their mouths shut in surprise. This is because white houses were lined up under a magnificent rock, making it look as if the houses and shops were embedded into the rock wall. Choi Won-young, the ‘art college brother’, showed interest, asking, “How did you come up with this?”
The members decided to enjoy a cup of coffee at a cafe. What is surprising is that the walls inside the cafe are also made of the rock itself. The members were even more fascinated by the mystery of Setenil Village. Meanwhile, the gaze towards the members in the cafe was unusual. When the cafe owner found a picture of BTS (BTS) and asked Kwon Yul, “You?”, Kwon Yul explained, “It’s not me, it’s the famous Korean singer BTS.” There was another similar incident. Someone asked “You?” while playing a video of BTS’ performance, and Choi Won-young responded, “We are movie stars.” In response, Cho Jin-woong made people burst into laughter by adding, "We're actors, not movie stars, right?"
The members returned to the campsite after purchasing the famous jamon and iberico in Setenil. Park Myung-hoon enjoyed his leisure time, saying, “This is camping.” At the moment when the members were enjoying healing, contemplation, ramen mukbang, and music, a trot song was played, and the main character of the song was revealed to be Choi Won-young, giving a twist. Cho Jin-woong made Choi Won-young, who casually sang his song, laugh by saying, "It's unique."
The barbecue party was the pinnacle of healing. Thanks to Choi Won-young grilling the meat by hand in front of the fire pit, the members were able to enjoy a barbecue filled with the scent of charcoal fire. Kwon Yul expressed his gratitude by personally wrapping ssam for Choi Won-young, who worked hard to grill the meat. The soybean paste stew cooked by Kwon Yul was also excellent.
Next week's broadcast depicts a journey to Seville, the home of flamenco.
