Four years after starring in the drama 'Romance is a Bonus Book', Lee Na-young is embarking on a new acting transformation as Korean language teacher Park Ha-kyung in 'Park Ha-kyung's Travels'. 'Park Ha-kyung's Travels' is a cheerful travel story depicting the unexpected moments and miraculous encounters of Park Ha-kyung, a Korean language teacher who goes on a one-day trip on Saturday when she wants to disappear.
High school teacher Park Ha-kyung experiences joys and sorrows through various unexpected events and special encounters on a trip that involves walking, eating, and idling for just one day on Saturday. Lee Na-young, who played Park Ha-kyung, who encounters an unexpected relationship in a travel destination with beautiful scenery, is said to have expressed her emotions in a rich and natural way.
Director Lee Jong-pil, who was in charge of directing, said, "When preparing for 'Park Ha-kyung's Travels,' the first thing that came to mind for the role of Park Ha-kyung was actress Na-young Lee. While filming, I thought that Park Ha-kyung was Na-young Lee. You will know when you see it."
Lee Na-young, who played Park Ha-kyung, a character that evokes sympathy, said, "It was very simple and fresh because it had a novel structure and story, and it felt like watching eight movies. I felt the chemistry and emotions created with the people I met on my travels, so I wrote the scenario. “I decided to appear as soon as I saw it,” he said, stimulating curiosity about the drama.
