LE SSERAFIM kicked off their new album with a comeback show featuring perfect performances.
Le Seraphim (Kim Chae-won, Sakura, Heo Yun-jin, Kazuha, Hong Eun-chae) aired 'LE SSERAFIM COMEBACK SHOW UNFORGIVEN' on Mnet, Digital Studio M2, and Hive Labels YouTube channel at 7 PM on the 1st. At this comeback show, the five members announced the return of the 'strongest girl group performer' by unveiling the performance of a new song included in their first full-length album 'UNFORGIVEN' for the first time.
Le Seraphim opened the stage with the song ‘Eve, Psyche, and Bluebeard’s Wife’, which stands out for its Jersey Club-style rhythm. The members showed off their overwhelming performance skills through this song, which begins with the addictive lyrics “I’m a mess mess mess mess.” They showed amazing stage control, performing non-stop, difficult group dances and even showing detailed facial expressions. The next stage of 'No-Return (Into the unknown)' created a fun atmosphere with the members' powerful vocals and lively performances.
The performance of the title song ‘UNFORGIVEN (feat. Nile Rodgers)’ was also revealed for the first time. The members expressed the song's message of breaking away from the rules set by the world and following Le Seraphim's own path with facial expressions that were sometimes cute and sometimes mischievous. In addition, movements using the point choreography of the 2nd mini album title song 'ANTIFRAGILE' appeared, providing fun in finding connections between promotional songs.
In particular, the last song, 'Blooma (Between you, me and the lamppost)', was a song in which all members participated in writing lyrics and Heo Yun-jin was involved in producing, and the sincerity of the five members impressed the fans.
In this comeback show, Le Seraphim showed further growth in all aspects by crossing a variety of genres, from punk and hip-hop to Jersey Club and disco pop. In addition, a variety of content was released, including special singing videos for the b-side songs 'Burn the Bridge' and 'Flash Forward', and an entertainment video with a college student MT concept that highlights the members' chemistry, adding to the fun of watching.
Le Seraphim, who successfully completed the comeback show, said, “It is meaningful to be able to release our first full-length album at the same time as our first anniversary of debut. I was very nervous, but I gained strength thanks to the fans' cheering. “Thank you for always giving me strength,” he said, expressing his deep affection for his fans.
Meanwhile, Le Seraphim will begin full-fledged 'UNFORGIVEN (feat. Nile Rodgers)' activities starting with Mnet's 'M Countdown' on the 4th.
