American director, writer and producer Wes Anderson won the Cartier Glory to the Filmmaker Award at the 80th Venice International Film Festival held from August 30 to September 9.
The Cartier Glory to the Filmmaker Award is given to individuals who have made original contributions to the modern film industry.
Wes Anderson is the director of the films 'The French Dispatch', 'Grand Budapest Hotel', and 'The Royal Tenenbaums'.
At the Cartier party held to celebrate this, actor Paul Mescal, actress Emma Corin, actress Isabelle Huppert, film director Luca Guadagnino, pianist Katia Buniatishvili, and music director Justin Hurwitz attended and added excitement.
