Actor Ma Dong-seok corrected incorrect information about the movie 'Crime City 3'.
On the morning of the 9th, a production briefing session for the movie 'Crime City 3' (directed by Lee Sang-yong) was held at Megabox COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Actors Ma Dong-seok, Lee Jun-hyuk, Aoki Munetaka, and director Lee Sang-yong attended the event.
'Crime City 3' follows monster detective Ma Seok-do (played by Ma Dong-seok), who moves to Gwangsu University in Seoul and catches Joo Seong-cheol (played by Lee Jun-hyuk), the mastermind behind a new drug crime case, and Ricky (played by Munetaka Aoki), another villain involved in the drug case. It depicts an exhilarating crime-fighting operation carried out for the sake of the audience.
In the play, Ma Dong-seok plays the role of Detective Ma Seok-do. Detective Ma Seok-do was transferred to the Seoul Metropolitan Investigation Unit seven years after arresting the Vietnamese kidnapper and murderer. He learns that the murder case he was investigating with his new team members is linked to a new drug case linked to a Japanese organization.
On this day, Ma Dong-seok said, "'Crime City 3' features slightly different types of crimes and villains (compared to the previous film). We expanded the world view, but also paid a lot of attention to the story and action aspects. We tried to show a lot of new things.' "In 'Crime City 3', Maseokdo's action was one-shot, but this time it has a little more rhythm and uses more repeated hits. There is a unique combination with two different colored villains, so you can enjoy watching that part."
Ma Dong-seok corrected incorrect information about ‘Crime City 3’. He said, "Let me give you some information about 'Crime City 3'. It is rated for ages 15 and up. There were people who misunderstood when I made the teaser trailer, so I would like to correct that. When I made the teaser trailer, the reason why I tried to get it to be 19 years old. “I almost got the 19th grade because there was a smoking role in the trailer,” he explained.
He continued, "We processed it and released a trailer, but the movie itself came out as if it was 19 years old. There are incorrect parts in many places such as SNS and YouTube. Our movie is 15 years old. We initially filmed it at the level of a 2-story movie. We made a 19-year-old movie. He added, “I didn’t edit it out and take it out, but I made it to that level.”
Ma Dong-seok said, "There is another story that has been going around a lot. Jang Yi-soo will not appear in 'Crime City 3'. A very strong character will appear to replace Jang I-soo. I think that part will be fun to watch again. See our movie in theaters. “If you watch until the end, there is a surprise gift prepared for you. You will find out when you watch later,” he said.
‘Crime City 3’ will be released on the 31st.
