Red Velvet Wendy tests positive for COVID-19
Wendy, a member of Red Velvet, has been confirmed with novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).

SM Entertainment announced through the Red Velvet fan community on the afternoon of the 10th, “I underwent a rapid antigen test today, and as a result of the test, I was confirmed to have COVID-19.”

“Currently, Wendy has suspended all schedules and is undergoing self-quarantine and home treatment following the guidelines of the quarantine authorities. Accordingly, we will not be participating in SBS Power FM’s ‘Wendy’s Young Street’.”

The agency added, “We will do our best to focus on the artist’s recovery by considering the artist’s health and safety as our top priority.”

Red Velvet, of which Wendy is a member, is currently conducting a global tour 'Red Velvet 4th Concert: R to V'. Following performances in Seoul, Singapore, Japan, and the Philippines, the group is scheduled to perform in Bangkok, Thailand on the 13th and 14th.
