Actor Go Gyu-pil revealed that he received a call from Ma Dong-seok about an offer to appear in the movie 'Crime City 3'.

On the afternoon of the 2nd, Ko Kyu-pil listened to various stories about the movie 'Criminal City 3' (director Lee Sang-yong) at a cafe located in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

'Criminal City 3' is an exhilarating story of Ma Seok-do (Ma Dong-seok), who moved to Gwangsu University in Seoul, to catch Joo Seong-cheol (Lee Jun-hyeok), who is behind a new drug crime case, and another villain, Ricky (Aoki Munetaka), who is involved in a drug case. Go Gyu-pil plays the role of Cho-rong in the play. Cho-rong is the person who will succeed Jang-i-soo (Park Ji-hwan), the official scene-stealer of the 'Crime City' series. Previously, Ma Dong-seok asked us to look forward to the appearance of a character who will surpass Jang-su. The person Ma Dong-seok mentioned is Go Gyu-pil, who plays Cho-rong.

On this day, Kyu-Pil Koh said, "I watched 'Crime City 2' when it was released and surpassed 1 million viewers. Except for me, everyone around me saw it. They talked about it a lot, so I saw it in the theater in front of my house and it was fun. I was envious of the movie. I came home and accidentally got a call from senior (E) Dong-seok.”

He continued, "Before that, I did contact him occasionally. I received it because it felt strange, but I was surprised when he told me about 'Crime City 3'. He sent me the script and recommended a meeting with director Lee Sang-yong. Looking at the script, I liked the role of Cho-rong itself." he added.

Ko Gyu-pil said, "I met director Lee Sang-yong, and he told me that my acting style would suit 'Crime City 3' well. He told me the precautions and immediately agreed. I was afraid he wouldn't do it. It wasn't decided, so I wished I hadn't seen it. I wanted to do it unconditionally. I wasn't in a position to feel pressured, and I thought and worried about not doing damage."

Ko Kyu-pil said, "Dong-seok senior said that my acting style has strengths. He said, 'There are people who like your style, but there are likes and dislikes.' They cheered me on and liked me. They gave me a lot of compliments before that.
