'Assisi Durian' Park Joo-mi "It's not the name of Durian fruit, it's a global name"

Actress Park Joo-mi told an episode related to the name of her character 'Durian'.

On the afternoon of the 22nd, an online production presentation was held for the TV Chosun weekend mini-series 'Missy Durian'. Director Shin Woo-chul, actors Park Joo-mi, Choi Myeong-gil, Kim Min-jun, Han Ga-gam, Jeon No-min, Yun Hae-young, Ji Young-san, Yoo Jeong-hoo, and Lee Da-yeon attended the event.

'Missis Durian' is a bizarre and timeless fantasy melodrama about two women and the Dan family who appear during a lunar eclipse that coincides with a party held at the Dan family's villa. Writer Phoebe (Lim Seong-han), who wrote 'See and See Again', 'Mermaid Lady', and 'The Tale of a New Gisaeng', is in charge of the script. Moreover, director Shin Woo-cheol directed 'Secret Garden', 'A Gentleman's Dignity', and 'Gu Family Book'.

Park Joo-mi played the role of Durian, the standard female figure in 'Oeyun Naegang'. He said, "There is Im Seong-han's world among the newly coined words these days. Watching the first and second parts, it's so new and fun. I was excited about what it would be like if director Shin Woo-chul directed it."

Park Joo-mi, who reunited with the writer Phoebe a year after the drama 'Wedding lyricist and divorce composer', said, "I am so grateful from an actor's point of view. As an actor, there is joy in finding hidden details between the lines." Regarding the points he focused on while acting, he explained, "It's a character that expresses restrained emotions. I paid more attention to that part."
