KBS 2TV Monday-Tuesday drama 'My heart is beating' press conference
On the afternoon of the 26th, the press conference for the production of KBS 2TV's Monday-Tuesday drama 'My Heart Beats' (script Kim Ha-na, Jung Seung-ju/director Lee Hyun-seok) was held at D-Cube City, Hyundai Department Store, Sindorim-dong, Guro-gu, Seoul. Actors Taecyeon Ok, Jian Won, Ganghyun Park, Sohee Yoon, and PD Hyunseok Lee attended the event.
In 'My Heart Beats', Seon Woo-hyeol (Ok Taek-yeon), a half-human vampire who did not become human due to a difference of one day in 100 years, and Joo-in-hae (Won Ji-an), a woman with no human beauty, somehow start living together and feel true warmth. It is a dizzying life-threatening symbiosis romance.
On this day, director Lee Hyun-seok said, “When I first read the script, the half-human, half-snake setting was fresh, and I felt a lot of interest and fun. I think the difference between vampires and vampires is that the immortal existence of a vampire wants to become a human while giving up his eternal life. As Seon Woo-hyeol and Joo-hae meet, the chaotic romantic comedy is attractive.”
In the play, Ok Taecyeon plays Seon Woo-hyeol, a half-human vampire who wants to become a human because he wants to fall in love with his heart, but fails to become human after one day difference. Won Ji-an plays the role of In-hae In-hae, a part-time health teacher and guest house owner with a cold personality that doesn't seem to bleed even if stabbed. In addition to this, Park Kang-hyun and Yoon So-hee, who challenged themselves to a drama rather than a musical, will appear in this work. In addition, the presence of Kyu-Pil Ko, who has risen as a scene stealer in 'Criminal City 3', is also raising expectations.
Ok Taek-yeon said, "Since my previous work was a heavy genre, I felt healed after reading the script for 'My Heart Beats'. I decided to appear in the role because I thought there would be many things that the Sun Woo-hyeol character could express." Taecyeon Ok picked CG acting as the most difficult thing and said, “I tried to develop my imagination about things that are not visible on set. I did a lot of thinking in that area. There was a difficult part," he said.
The English title of 'My Heart Beats' is 'Heartbeat', which is the same as the hit song 'Heartbeat' by Ok Taecyeon's group, 2PM. Regarding this, Taecyeon Ok said, "When I heard the title 'My heart races', I couldn't associate it with 2PM. Rather, I heard K.Will hyung's song 'My heart races'." He continued, "When 'Heartbeat' was chosen as an overseas film, I thought I had met a work like fate. Just as 2PM was loved with 'Heartbeat', I hope that 'My Heart Beats' will be loved as much."
In addition, Won Jian, who took on the lead role for the first time in a drama with this work, cited 'stamina' as the difficult point during filming. He said, "I'm happy to do a bright and fun work. I'm very excited." "The hardest thing about filming this kind of work for a long time is that so many people around me helped me.
