Han Sun-hwa Shines in 'Fighting Against Worthlessness' with Dynamic Character Portrayal
In the episodes of JTBC's weekend drama 'Fighting Against Worthlessness' aired on the 2nd and 3rd, the story of Jang Mi-ran (played by Han Sun-hwa) entangled with Hwang Dong-man (played by Koo Kyo-hwan) and Byun Eun-ah (played by Go Yoon-jung) unfolded. The scene where Byun Eun-ah delivers a blunt 'fact bomb' to Jang Mi-ran, who rejected the script, caught the viewers' attention with the chemistry between the two actors.
In the broadcast, Jang Mi-ran vents her pent-up emotions to Hwang Dong-man, who had previously delivered sharp words to Park Kyung-se (played by Oh Jung-se). Her complex feelings, especially those experienced while filming Park Kyung-se's work, were vividly expressed.
Meanwhile, Jang Mi-ran expressed dissatisfaction with the script to director Lee Jun-hwan (played by Shim Hee-seop) and showed discomfort after hearing Byun Eun-ah's opinion. Her inability to contain her emotions hinted at an intriguing development in their relationship.
Han Sun-hwa skillfully brought out the traits of her character, making it more appealing. Her excellent control over the emotional spectrum, from dynamic exchanges with Hwang Dong-man to her dry attitude towards Oh Jung-hee and the moment she was hit by Byun Eun-ah's words, vividly portrayed the character's psychology, enhancing the drama's engagement and immersion.
'Fighting Against Worthlessness' airs every Saturday at 10:40 PM and Sunday at 10:30 PM.
