Comedian Kim Young-hee Reveals Her Experience as an Adult Film Director on 'Malja Show'

Kim Young-hee, who is married to her husband Yoon Seung-yeol, 10 years her junior, shared her experience as an adult film director on the KBS2 show 'Malja Show,' delivering a message that it's never too late to pursue your dreams.

The episode, which aired on the 4th, was themed around 'Confessions.' During the show, Kim Young-hee, known as 'Malja Grandma,' responded to a special concern: "I have a dream that I haven't told anyone about because I'm afraid of being laughed at. Is it okay to dream again at an older age?"

Kim Young-hee revealed that she has another dream besides being a comedian, catching attention by mentioning her aspiration to be an 'adult film director.' She confessed, "Before meeting my husband, I hadn't dated for 11 years. When you don't date for a long time, you start to read into even the smallest gestures. Feeling the seriousness of the situation, I decided to awaken my dating instincts by subscribing to a late-night adult channel."

Kim Young-hee continued, "There was this actor named Min Do-yoon who appeared in every film, and he was an excellent actor. One day, I noticed there were no new releases from him, so I reached out via social media. It turned out we were the same age, and we became really good friends."

She added, "One day, I told Min Do-yoon, 'I want to make a film with you.' Then, by chance, I got the opportunity to direct an adult film starring him." Kim Young-hee has directed three adult films and shared, "After dating and getting married, my ideas ran dry. But I will do it again someday. You must respect your own dreams and profession for others to respect them. I hope people take that first step to make their dreams known and pursue them."
