Kangnam Reveals Wife's Changed Reaction After 20kg Weight Loss on 'My Ugly Duckling'
Kangnam appeared as a special guest on the show, and the studio was abuzz with comments like, “He’s lost a lot of weight,” and “He looks prettier.”
Seo Jang-hoon remarked, “You lost 20kg in four months from 90kg. Has Lee Sang-hwa's treatment of you changed since you lost weight?”
Kangnam responded, “She treats me very nicely now. When I was 90kg, she used to tell me to lose weight like a sports senior, but now she treats me very well.”
He added humorously, “Husbands need to make an effort to be loved.”
He recalled, “Gangbuk barks at strangers and even at the sound of the doorbell. But when he saw Lee Sang-hwa on TV, he didn’t bark, almost giving us away.”
He continued, “Gangbuk even showed affection towards Sang-hwa, asking to be held, which was surprising.”
Kangnam mentioned, “Sang-hwa pretended it was her first time seeing Gangbuk, but if you look closely, her hands were trembling.” The studio erupted in laughter, agreeing with the amusing situation.
Meanwhile, Kangnam married former national speed skater Lee Sang-hwa in 2019, and they are now in their seventh year of marriage. Kangnam passed the naturalization test in 2022 and acquired South Korean citizenship.
