KBS2's 'Gag Concert' Delights with Parody of '21st Century Grand Prince' and Hilarious Dialect Lessons

KBS2's 'Gag Concert' recently brought laughter to audiences with a parody of the popular MBC drama '21st Century Grand Prince,' starring IU and Byun Woo-seok.

On the episode aired on the 3rd, the 'Chatflix' team captivated viewers by spoofing '21st Century Grand Prince.' Additionally, the 'Undercover' segment featured a humorous dialect lesson for Han Soo-chan, who struggled with the Gyeongsang-do dialect. Meanwhile, the drama '21st Century Grand Prince' achieved its highest viewership rating of 11.2% on its 8th episode, aired on the 2nd.

In 'Chatflix,' Park Sung-kwang took on the role of Lee An-dae-gun, originally played by Byun Woo-seok. As he appeared, the audience humorously referred to him as 'Dae-gun-jja-ga' and 'Ki-ga-ja-ga' instead of the character's name 'Dae-gun-ja-ga,' sparking laughter.

Park Sung-kwang then humorously rejected a marriage proposal from Seo Seong-gyeong, saying, "I can't marry because I'm looking for someone." When asked who he was searching for, the audience playfully suggested 'Neuk-gu' in the chat. Park Sung-kwang shouted, "I found Neuk-gu!" causing the audience to burst into laughter.

Towards the end of the skit, Park Sung-kwang declared he would become king, and Lee Sang-hoon, playing the role of the queen dowager, called a male student from the audience to the stage. Lee Sang-hoon asked the student, "Tell us one of the most challenging tasks of state affairs." The student requested help from the audience, who humorously suggested that homework was the toughest, adding a touch of elementary school humor.

In the 'Undercover' segment, experts Park Young-jae and Hong Soon-mok were brought in to teach Han Soo-chan the Gyeongsang-do dialect. Park Young-jae challenged Han Soo-chan with a dialect problem: "A mother at a kindergarten talent show tells her son, 'Don't be nervous, just do as you practiced. I believe in you.' How would you shorten this to six syllables?" With playful teasing, Park Young-jae delivered the punchline, "Mom's here," eliciting laughter from the audience.
